Built Trailers ("we," "us," or "our") operates a shop management platform used internally by Built Trailers staff and, in limited ways, by our customers and dealer partners. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
What we send. When you opt in, Built Trailers may send you text messages related to your orders or, for employees, approval request notifications. Message types include order status updates (Quote, Confirmed, In Production, Ready/Shipped) and purchase order or vendor approval requests.
Message frequency. Customers and dealers receive up to 4 messages per order — one per production stage. Employees receive one message per approval request assigned to them. Frequency varies based on order and approval activity.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates charged by your mobile carrier may apply to messages sent to or received from Built Trailers.
Your mobile number will not be shared. We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your mobile phone number to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used solely to deliver the notifications you opted into and is never provided to advertisers or data brokers.
How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages will be sent. Reply START or UNSTOP at any time to re-subscribe.

We use industry-standard security practices including bcrypt password hashing, JWT-based session authentication, HTTPS in production, and role-based access controls. Credentials are stored only in server-side environment configuration and are never exposed in browser requests or API responses.
